ENTIRE WORLDS presents TAMAN NASIONAL MANGKUPURBA: The Dwelling of Ancient Intelligence.
An interactive store-container and physical activation designed debuted at the Fourth Edition of ArtKet in The Brickhall Fatmawati 03-04 May 2025.

Taman National Mangkupurba is a transmedia speculative fiction project set in a protected site and prehistoric preservation area in geopolitically contested region in 1980s West Borneo. The preserve is home to a prehistoric “dinosaur graveyard”. A situated land exposing a wealth of fossils & the sudden reemergence isolated prehistoric ecosystem from the Mesozoic era, revealing a new found record of the Archipelago’s natural history.

The conceptual approach & branding for this activation showcase is for continuous use. Portraying the capture of the spirit of the ancient intelligence in phyiscal form as visitors unravel the piece together the sporadic archival information through cascades of visual identities, newsletters, documents & prints to form the story of the Lagerstätte as told through various real-life events in Indonesia’s history.

In universe — the functional object refers to the first container that hosts the first specimens unearthed from the Mangkupurba Lagerstätte. This object is the designated installation to craft the experience of Mankgupurba, used in presence to contain the many memorabilia and ephemera from Mangkupurba National Park.
