The UBE-FIELDVEST returns. Once a standard hooded vest issued to the early researchers and field workers stationed in Kapuas Hulu during the 1970s expeditions. At the time, UBE (Unified Bureau of Ethnobiology) was the main provider of field equipment for the settlement and research teams in the developing Mangkupurba area.
This vest hoodie served as the everyday uniform of Mangkupurba: practical, adaptable, and built to move through dense rainforest terrain and long days in the field.
Reissued today as a nod to that early era of exploration, cultural research, and environmental study, the FIELDVEST keeps the original spirit intact—functional, understated, and meant to be used rather than admired.
