PPRU exploded into international notoriety in mid-1984 following UNESCO’s establishment of the Mangkupurba site as The 8th Wonder of the World; the thirst to understand beyond the factual science soon came pouring. Superstitions, mythologies and alternative readings on the site became an overnight sensation in popular culture. Whenever the state administration fails to offer clarity over the machinations of the area; the PPRU offers other forms of insights. Numerologies, patterns, esoteric mathematics & indigenous perspectives became to founding tools of the collective; to devise reasonings to the reemergence of the ancient beasts.
