Polypod Earth Tissue, Mixed-Media Living Planter 320 × 150 mm + 2 mm Stainless Steel 304 Plate
A cast rammed earth block mounted on brushed stainless steel 304, planted with a cultivated colony of Polypodiopsida, Bryopsida, Anthocerotopsida, and Pilea microphylla. The surface is dressed with gravel and volcanic sand, concealing an embedded stainless steel relief of the Allosaurus kerianensis skull cast directly into the earth at time of production.
Classified as a living field specimen from The Malayan Ridge, Northeast of the Mangkupurba Trifecta Area. The substrate may contain fossilized skin impressions or trackways of endemic Mangkupurba species. Prepared by the Indonesian Institute of Paleontology & Mangkupurba Cinderamata Team, 1983. Kualakeriau, West Borneo.
